Limited rollover applies automatically only after an eligible plan reaches its normal expiry, up to the stated cap and for one final rollover period. Rolled-over time does not roll again.
How the plans work

These rules apply across the paid-plan range. Open each section for the plain-English explanation.
AActivation, expiry and rolloverWhen a paid plan starts and what happens at normal expiry
For a paid plan, you can select an activation date no later than seven days after purchase. If you do not select a later date, the plan activates on the purchase date. The plan period begins on the activation date.
The selected date may be changed before activation within the seven-day limit, but not after activation. Core, Study, Value and Family may then provide one limited rollover period for eligible unused time, up to the stated cap.
Final expiry: any unused rollover balance expires permanently at the end of its stated rollover period.
BRenewal and cancellationWhich plans can renew and how to stop future renewal
The Trial, One Day Starter and One Week Core Plans do not renew. The 30 Day Study, 90 Day Value and 90 Day Family Plans may renew only if you actively opt in. Renewal is never pre-selected.
Cancellation stops a future optional renewal charge. It does not remove valid paid or rolled-over tutoring time before its recorded expiry.

CShared account and Family Plan useOne account, one registered email and one shared tutoring-time pool
More than one person may use your account, but only one tutoring session can be active at a time. Tutoring time is shared across your account.
The 90 Day Family Plan provides a larger 40-hour shared pool. It does not create separate student profiles, per-person time allocations, separate tutoring histories or persistent learner context between sessions.

Blue Hippo does not offer a separate top-up, add-on or bespoke additional-hours product. If you need more tutoring time, you can purchase another standard plan in the same account.
If you have more than one valid plan balance at the same time, you will be able to see each balance and its expiry date in your account and at checkout.

If you are new to Blue Hippo, your selected paid plan stays with you while you register or log in and continue to checkout. If you already have an account, log in and you will return to your selected plan or checkout.
Before you pay, checkout shows your selected plan, activation date, expiry, rollover, renewal choice, cancellation details and the complete details for the plan.
FIf you have more than one planHow tutoring time is used when more than one plan is active
If you have more than one valid standard-plan balance in the same account, tutoring time is used from the balance that expires first. If expiry dates match, the older balance is used first.
This helps reduce unnecessary loss of already-purchased tutoring time.

Is the Free Trial really free?
The Free Trial provides up to 30 minutes over seven days, requires no payment details and does not convert automatically. Reasonable eligibility checks apply.
Can I purchase without taking the Trial?
Yes. You can watch the walkthrough, take the Trial or go directly to Pricing and purchase—whichever route suits you.
Do plans renew automatically?
Starter and Core do not renew. Study, Value and Family may renew only if you actively opt in. Renewal is not pre-selected.
Can I buy extra tutoring time?
You may purchase another standard plan in the same account. Blue Hippo does not offer a separate top-up or bespoke additional-hours product.
Can more than one student use an account?
