Blue Hippo provides browser-based AI tutoring through voice and chat. A student explains what they are working on and where they are stuck. The AI tutor then uses explanations, questions, examples and guided practice to help the student work through the difficulty step by step.

During the current session
The explanation can change as the student responds.
Blue Hippo can adjust explanations, questions, examples and pace to what the student says and how they respond during the current session. It does not retain tutoring-session history or use information from one session in a later session.

Students can talk or type through a supported browser, subject to the capabilities available in the delivered product.
Guided reasoning
The tutor can ask questions, explain a concept in another way, use an example or provide practice while keeping the student involved in the reasoning.
Clear limits
Blue Hippo supports learning within defined boundaries.
Blue Hippo supports understanding and practice, but it does not guarantee marks or assessment results.
It supports a student’s own work and will not complete submission-ready assessed work.
Tutoring time is defined by the Free Trial or selected plan; it is not unlimited.
Each tutoring session starts without a retained learning profile from earlier sessions.
